Is it a good idea to have a loft conversion over Christmas in lockdown whilst both working full time from home and home schooling 2 primary school aged children? YES if its Alvaston!
As the other reviews say, Alvaston really are professional, reliable and deliver high quality workmanship. For us, the professionalism of the workmen was paramount – we were in a tricky situation but everyone who came through the door was considerate to our meetings/timetable, worked in a Covid secure way and with child appropriate language at all times! All workers were thorough, they cleaned and tidied after themselves and they made sure the stairwell was blocked every evening before they left -just in case any small eyes got curious!
Whilst we’ve had some work done around the house this is the biggest undertaking to date. We were guided through the process with helpful suggestions but never felt forced to compromise. There are no straight walls or matching angels in our house so I think its fair to say it was a more challenging job for Alvaston but we were none the wiser. We never felt stressed by the conversion or its ‘challenges’ (I’m not sure if Jamie and everyone else would say the same!) and we would happily do it all over again.
So, if you are reading this to decide if Alvaston are worth it, the answer is yes, definitely yes. If you are looking for honest, reliable people who will treat your home with care and consideration and do everything to get the best job done; Alvaston are the company for you.
