Through our experience with Alvaston’s we feel able to highly recommend them. They led us through the project with clarity and respect. They have given us a lovely loft space that is a pleasure to be in and has improved the feel of our home overall. The clever detail of including a bookcase on a recess wall on the stairs was Jamie’s idea, so well realised by Richie who persisted with some of the problems thrown up by the irregularity of the walls in an old house.
Matt and his team, Doug and Reece were excellent as were Richie and Ross ..and all of the people involved were very supportive, worked hard and with a high level of professionalism.
Jamie is an excellent and considered communicator and oversaw and checked progress, always ready to support and help. We did not feel rushed at all and they all worked with an awareness of my ongoing health problems, indeed they made a stressful process quite enjoyable. All of the structural work was done within their specified time limit but sourcing of materials extended the deadline for completion, nevertheless we never felt forgotten and always felt that we were working alongside a highly professional and confident team. They have been so easy to approach and provided excellent follow through and after care which should also be noted.
